Lena Dunham said she wishes she’d had an abortion, proving that she has absolutely no clue about abortion.  (See below for podcast)

During a recent episode of her podcast, "Women of the Hour", Dunham listed her mother and best-friend as people in her life who have had abortions, and stated, "Now I can say that I still haven't had an abortion, but I wish I had."

Abortion is something no woman wishes for. Abortion is often the choice of women who feel they have no choice. Abortion leaves many women with a lifetime of pain, regret and sadness.

And we would know. Many women have sent us their abortion stories:

"When it was over, I curled up into a fetal position and felt like my brain had snapped. I was never the same..." Denise

"I regret not knowing and not understanding the decision I was making and how it would stay with me for the rest of my days..." -julie

"I hope they will heed my advise and NOT have an abortion because sooner or later a woman comes face-to-face with the reality of the death of an innocent baby." -Yolanda

So no Lena, abortion is not some flippant right of passage into a "Pro-Choice Sisterhood." Abortion takes a life, and stays with you a lifetime.
