In 2016 we attended the March for Life in Ottawa for the first time. Our team was small but mighty!

Our bus left bright and early from Westney Heights Baptist Church and our marchers enjoyed excellent coffee and muffin service from WHBC's Pastor Jack.

The March for Life was a new experience for all but one of our CHOICE42 marchers. Here's what they had to say:
“It was good and important for our girls to be there and experience the whole thing. They saw the importance of standing up for truth. They saw hatred and sin in action. They saw and heard the harsh realities of abortion. And they heard the importance of forgiveness and love. ”
“It was nice to see so many people coming out to support the rights of the unborn to have a chance at life.
I hope that someday, we can have some legislation in our country to help protect the rights of the unborn as well.”
“A great event! It certainly provided an opportunity to represent biblical values via a public platform and a way to communicate to our national leaders that we would like these values to be upheld. ”
“For me it was being able to distribute all the bracelets and speak to fellow supporters. ”
“I found that entire day to be encouraging, uplifting, and a blessing. It was encouraging to see all the men that came out in support of the women in their lives, and also to witness the courage of the men who shared their heartfelt testimony of the pain, and guilt they endured due to the impact of their decision to encourage/demand the abortion of their girlfriend.”
Our bright green signs made it into CBC and CTV news coverage. Unfortunately, the reporting was less than great as the media reported "hundreds" rather than thousands! #BiasedMuch
