"Abortion eliminates life. I was the foetus that was to be aborted 50 years ago; 3 times aborted but somehow they were not successful. At that point of time, my mother said it was the right move for her and our family. All through my childhood, this was never a hidden fact and the only regret/puzzle was that none of the abortions worked. Two of my younger siblings were aborted later.
Now in her 80s, my mother questioned her thoughts/decision and often thinks of the 2 babies who were aborted. My father in his dying bed lamented his 2 children who didn't have a chance to live.
